31 Day Challenge Begins!

19 Jul

Today’s the day.

I am upping my game, transforming my blog, taking the next step.  I’m turning up the heat and it’s going to get pretty hot in here!

I’m talking about the 31 day challenge being offered by SITS Girls and Problogger. Nothing like a gauntlet being thrown to ignite this Aries!

Here’s the idea:

For the next 31 days, me and 300+ other women bloggers will be yanked out of the comfort zone by completing tasks from Darren Rowse’s hugely successful ebook 31 Days to Build a Better Blog.

Why on earth did I say yes?  That’s the question I’ve been asking myself for about a week leading up to today.

I bought the 31 Days ebook about two months ago and I think I’ve completed 2 of the 31 tasks.  That’s tough for me to admit.  I’m an Aries and a keener and I like to get things done and quite frankly I wasn’t satisfied with my 2/31 result!

When I saw the invitation to join the Challenge I felt a tingle of excitement…and fear.

Just for a second imagine…

A tribe of passionate, committed women on a mission – bettering our blogs thereby contributing in a bigger way (that’s my take on it as I haven’t talked to all 300+ women!).

It’s mind-boggling, inspiring and perhaps even daunting.

And that’s why I said yes.

I’ll be sharing the journey, hopefully keeping up with my daily tasks and if not cleaning it up in public!

There’s an old Gospel tune that says, “Change gonna come.”

Yes it is!

Yes! I think having tasks laid out for you with *everyone* watching is going to be hugely helpful for your site…. I really enjoyed the ProBlogger book as it gave me a firmer understanding of exactly what steps I should take to grow my own blog. So best of luck lady!

Those are some of the exact reasons that I said yes to this challenge too! I’m so looking forward to working through this challenge and getting to know some of these amazing women.

Exactly Christine! Why do it alone when we can do it together and have fun while we’re at it!
